Can't speak for anyone else, but I seem to recall (anyone please correct me if I'm wrong) that at the last election the only option you had was to appoint two of three guys up for election.
If you didn't have confidence in more than one, or even any of them; then your only recourse was to not vote for any of them (which would just lead to reappointment of the incumbents).
IMHO the problem is more with the process than the voters.
Spartels was the only (non-board member) nominee.
Why would anyone nominate for election when faced with public attacks and outrageous arrogance such as this from Mark Harrison right here on TC...!?
