What was your other hand touching???

other hand was holding my digital camera, recording it all!

i had to hold it close to my chest so the security who were right behind me and trying to pull us off the fence, didn't see it.
it turned out okay considering the position i was in. 8)

Positives for me - AB. He's been great the last few weeks but last night wow, he was fantastic.

Simpson - keeps improving.

We won & are off the bottom of the ladder.

In a year where we have managed to win only 4 and a half games we've knocked off Essendon*, Collingwood & Richmond.

Essendon* Collingwood and Richmond are powerhouse clubs.

2 beat us as well as we beat them... and the other i hope beats us too.

I met a Geelong model once. She modelled dentures.

One of the greatest nights of my life

Bentick - yes, I will admit he was very good, even though I've been a critic, despite some on this forum howling me down for it

Betts - is getting better with the experience and his defensive chasing is a site to see. Skills aren't bad either

Simpson - his pace is damaging, breaks the lines, and skills on both sides (yep, he used his right foot a couple of times) were very good.

Was anyone else having flashbacks to the Wizard Cup when Jaws nailed that goal from 50 out??!?!

Geez it was good.

Eddie's goal at the start was unbelievable.

Hard to tell who will the NRSN this week.
It'll be out of Eddie and AB, but I think AB might just pip him at the post.
Some of his efforts last night were sensational to watch.

Harf was really pumping him up on the radio and rightly so.

AB is going to be a very, very good player when he fully develops.

A future midfield of Simpson, Walker, Smith, Bentick, Betts, Carrots and whoever else we draft, is going to be an incredibly good midfield.

Man those players have me shaking in my boots. Collingwood for premiers in 2006. It would have to be a monty from here.

How about the Melbourne model? Up one year, down the next, get a few good draft picks, can't quite mould a good team together. They are just missing that je ne sais pas.

Aah! I know. It is knowing what to do to win. It is developing a knowledge of yourself and your opposition. It is developing your talent until you are better than most. It is developing your team to sacrifice for each other.

It is also picking the eyes out of the draft. Don't get me wrong. I want two of the best 4-6 kids in the land and would be happy to lose the next two. I just love to celebrate a win though.

Seeing the development of Bentick, Simpson, Carazzo, Walker, Waite and Betts gives me confidence that even better days are ahead. Not seeing players like these improve would have me following badminton.

PJ, Betts was good, probably his best game, but not a patch on AB's. AB was sensational, a great game by anyone's standards, let alone a guy playing his 10th or so game. Easily best on ground.

Someone tell AB that Simon Black called and he wants his handpass back.

Simmo is now the player we were hoping Chambers would be. Love it when he puts the foot to the floor and just runs.
