I'd like Fev to come back as kicking coach.

More so id like him to give a talk to the playing group, including leaders, on how important it is to give this opportunity to play AFL a red hot go and don't take it for granted...and about his love of the Carlton jumper...and his wasted opportunity.

I want someone to give tham a wake up call.

Fev should give that talk to the Board & Senior Administration not the players.

Forget coaching, get him on the park.

Quote:
BRENDAN Fevola might have retired from AFL football four years ago, but you could argue he’s never been playing more footy in his life.
The former Carlton and Brisbane forward has become something of a country football nomad since being sacked by the Lions in 2011, playing here, there and everywhere and earning a tidy dollar for doing so.
While anchoring himself at Yarrawonga Football Club in Victoria’s north, on away weekends you might find him anywhere across Australia, kicking bagfuls against hapless local players who would have been wiser to call in sick on that particular day.
In his most recent outing, he snagged eight goals for the Sandown Cobras and is understood to have pocketed $10,000 for his efforts.
Depending on who you ask, the ex-Blues spearhead is believed to be making anywhere up to $25,000 for a one-off appearance, though many of his ‘clubs for a day’ cash in big time, with thousands of fans piling through the gate and spending up on booze and food.
Many clubs report that Fevola delivers more than just on the field, and almost always hangs around the club for hours after the game, having a few beers and talking footy with anyone and everyone.
It’s even rumoured that opposition clubs have paid the big man to play against them.
Here’s just a sample of Fevola’s travels since he finished up at AFL level:
2011
— Season at Casey Scorpions — 63 goals
— Six games at Waratah in NTFL — 49 goals
— One game at New Norfolk in Tasmania’s Southern Football League — 18 goals, new club record
2012
— Season at Yarrawonga — 17 games, 110 goals and a premiership
2013
— Season at Yarrawonga
— One game at Griffith — Seven goals
— One game at New Norfolk — 16 goals
— One game at Rockingham Rams in WA — 10 goals
— One game at Edenhope-Apsley in Horsham District Football League — 12 goals
2014
— Season at Yarrawonga
— One game at Lindenow in Gippsland — 15 goals
— One game with Rockingham Rams — seven goals
— One game at Geelong West Cheetahs — three goals
— One game at Woodend-Heskey — two goals
2015

Fevola (A movie based on a true story)
Followed by Fev the musical.

Would be a good movie if he come back next year and took us in to the finals. Would be action packed with everything under the sun. Alcohol, fights, marital affairs, sports etc.

I think Carlton should do this to pay off the jack elliot stand.

Almost worth a rookie spot just for the inevitable cinderella story. What is it worth to fill the MCG for a home game? I honestly reckon the feelgood factor alone would bring back many that have drifted away, even if only for a night. We've got a kid on our list right now that we drafted 2 years ago with an injured foot, hasn't played a game and still indefinitely injured. If we can carry blokes that make no impact to games, why not carry 1 guy that will bring a massive boost to the coffers if only for 1 night! It would rip the light towers out at the MCG if he launched a massive goal from the boundary at the 50m arc.

Clearly never going to happen but it would be fun!

It'll only be 1-2 weeks. Sign him up for 3 years.

Still think if he was there in 2011 we would have gone a long way, like the West Coast game at Etihad that year we have become a club of sliding door moments

I remember 10 years ago when we were getting flogged we at least had Fev who could weave some magic to pull us back into games.

Now we don't even have that, awful and devoid of flair.

Also he would kick more goals in a season in his current shape than either Jones or Watson.
