If this picture opens - this is the only Carlton guernsey we should be seeing in 2006 and beyond. Bluehammer started a post before about how the new cfc on the website is without the notches.

well i say this is without doubt the best guernsey.

why?

tradition.

Big and bold... the only way to go..

not arty farty with gaps and arrows, notches and bits and pieces.

bring back this guernsey for more than just the heritage round.

Agreed.

It symbolises success. The other thing symbolises nothing but misery.

BRING BACK THE BOLD!

Love the old design...but the above photo makes the jumper look more like a stubby holder...

Bring back the old knitted jumper with the collar!...

Good to see your support again, Deano.

This must be the coolest looking picture i have seen of a carlton player in over 7 years. He looks tough, focused and he is wearing the guernsey that all our champions wore.

At matches - I find it easier to barrack loudly for the true cfc but only clap politely for players in the new guernsey.

The above jumper design is the one they should wear and this one just doesn't feel the same and it just looks wrong.

I agree with Bluejean's post that they should bring the old jumper's with the collars, because the present design looks more like tank tops or basketball jerseys.

But this is the least of our worries ATM and I hope they address it when we're back at the pointy end of the ladder.

Then we can see Jarred lifting up the cup in an identical guernsey to the one Vin wore.

Maybe we should wear this one because I just love the high collar. 8)

agreed agreed agreed. i havent really thought about the jumper design much in the recent posts but this thread really showed me the difference between the old and new, and i say, F*** this new design off, we need the massive logo on the front, and that makes me think....why the hell was the logo on braddles jumper always about 5 sizes bigger than everyone else?

i also agree witht that picture of AB, corker, therein lies the future of CFC.

I think the heritage logo makes it look a bit better, too..

Almost like the jumpers on Grand Final day..

So if we get the other jumper full time AND make the grand final i'll be happy with how it looks...
