Recently I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak at the new offices for the Coaching, recruiting, welfare and admin staff at Optus Oval.

If anyone had seen the previous offices you will now what I mean when I say..."let there be light'.

As much as the old offices under the Heatley Stand held a lot of history, in a nut shell, the accomodation was far from perfect. One or two of the 'Offices' were windowless and far to small for the workload being generated.

The folks from 'downunder' will soon make there way out to some glorious sunlight and 'Green' views across OO. The entire first level under the Pratt Stand, that previously housed the Sponsors and Chardonay drinkers on game day, is being redeveleoped as I type.

The Blues are slowly moving into the 21st Century and there is certainly a spring in the step of those that keep the club running behind the scenes.

The new gym and player rooms was recently installed in the Pratt Stand. Also part of the new development is a large lecture theatre.

New digs and a youth policy. You gotta be happy with that.

Good to hear that there are some positive changes around the place.

Slowly but surely the wheel is turning.

Ok, I'm going in:

Why the hell do we persist in wasting money on this bunch of glorified hacks. Any othe club would've taken them out the back of the stand and shot them, not built them a theatre! FFS :-D

A thread with Bluemark and Synbad posting within 4 posts of each other and not an unkind word in sight. :P
