How will Fev cope with only having 30 seconds to kick for goal??

He’d have to stop:

* looking at himself on the scoreboard,
* readjusting his shorts,
* pulling up his socks,
* wiping his arse, and
* spitting flem
before taking a shot, he should be OK!!!!!!


In a nutshell, new rules…

* 30 seconds to kick for goal

*stricter interpretation on the deliberate out of bounds rule with players to be penalised even if they kick the ball forward and gain ground before it goes out of play, if such a kick is ruled deliberate by the umpires.

*reduced tolerance for holding players up after a mark or a free kick, which results in a 50 metre penalty against the offending team with field umpires also to be told to take less time in deciding to award and then measure out the 50 metre penalty.

*boundary umpires to throw the ball in quicker.

*stricter policing of holding and blocking in marking contests.

*and a greater focus on detecting infringements by taggers.

That last one about taggers is interesting. They see what happens but unless theres a sjumper being pulled they dont pay a free

Compare the tagger to some of the marking blocks they play. Like that Whitnall free kick where he puts his arms out and doesnt look at the ball when it comes in. Always paid as a free against him.

But taggers do that all the time. Arms around a guy, just not grabbing him, and no eyes for the ball, but its never paid as a free. They are just inconsistent with this and I cant wait until they start paying freees against Steven Baker for big Mum Hugs
