Gibbs got a trial by media for that tackle on Gray in 2015 yet this turd Houli knocks out Lamb off the ball and the wanker commentators hardly mention it throughout the rest of the match. Gibbs was practically tried and convicted by the media for a clean tackle that had a bad outcome yet Houli with a dirty hit off the ball went untouched by the media. The only thing worse than the umpiring at a Carlton match is the f#(@!$^g commentating. Houli should get 5 weeks for the unprovoked hit!

4 weeks after they take into account his good behavior previously is about right. But the original 2 weeks is a farce. The fact of the matter is that for such an incident Houli should have been ejected from the match on game day and Richmond should have been penalized a rotation just like we were. Maybe the rules committee needs to pull the proverbial finger out of their a$$3s and actually make a rule where if a player takes another player out of the match in a reckless manner such as Houli did they should plain and simple be ejected from the match.

Got to love how Houli coward punching Jed Lamb got everyone to emphasise what great character he has.

If it were a Carlton player who struck a Richmond player there is very little chance the media would have been so favourable.

Quite literally from the moment it happened the commentators and right throughout the media marrative chose to barely condemn the action.

Lucky houli doesn't play for Essendon* anymore, otherwise it would have completely been swept under the rug

Perhaps if Bryce Gibbs went the whole hog with his Man Bun/Shintaro look

If Houli was still playing for Essendon*, Lamb probably would have been suspended for head butting his fist.
