Probably the best game of footy I've attended, except for the '79 GF.

I am more than happy to be unoriginal....99 prelim is and I reckon will always be the greatest game I have ever been to.....A massive rollercoaster of emotion all day....going from not being expected to win, to being up at half time and planning getting in queue for GF tickets, to being absolutely guttered at 3/4 time and then clawing back in the last quarter.....My brother and I were both crying as the siren sounded and the drinking session that nigth was a ripper.....still gives me goose bumps thinking about it and watching it

I can recall a few one point wins over the Eagles, there was one in Perth where I think Mainwaring had the chance to win the game but he hit the post. There was another one at Princes Park where Kouta went mad and took 18 marks or something.

Another great win was that game against the Crows in 2004 where Fev kicked that amazing goal from the boundary line. I actually went over to Adelaide for that game.... it was awesome!

You forgot to mention walking into the MCG and walking past the Essendon* dipshits who were lining up for Grand Final tickets...before the game.....and by the time we got home ...the news was coming through that Kennett had copped it in the neck
