If we had kicked straight for goal we would have won!

1. It's a public holiday today.
2. Australia won the cricket.

As annoying as they are, I dips my lid to the social media team for their huge efforts in trying to polish the turd that is our clubs performance.

If only the football department put in half as much effort with so little to work on.

Just jumping back to positive from Carl v Melb… we played them into form :-)

Really struggling with this one…
1) Some clarity has emerged for me - the players are just lost. Must be a coaching issue.
2) We got a lot of scoring opportunities but a) many of them were 40m out, on angles and b) we just can’t kick straight
3) With finals now definitively out of the equation, maybe a load will lift and we can play a bit better, more freely for the remainder of the year.
4) With finals now out of the equation, we have a good opportunity to really test out the list
5) The Ashes begins pronto!

There was a train at Jolimont Station waiting at 3/4 time.

I’m struggling for the next 4.

Carlton knew 5 Essendon* players have asthma and we put so much smoke in the air with the fireworks before the game that it could have helped us

No waiting in the members dining room bar for a beer, despite other bars being packed out.

1. I didn't watch it and went to a charity event at the Comedy Club
2. I have resisted watching the recording
3. I laughed on Sunday night instead of being extremely angry.
4. It didn't spoil my public holiday
5. I had more free time as i didn't feel like watching football yesterday.

I missed it and watched on delay
Was able to fast forward through the majority of it
Only had to watch 6 goals
Essendon** will probably make the finals and hopefully lose. That’ll extend the streak.
One game closer to the end of Voss’ coaching career

Totally get this.

I’m one step further down the path.

Moved to a new home today.

Forgot football existed for the last few days.

Life is good.
