Saint Silvagni has not recovered from his adductor issues that ended his season.

We did well to get a first rounder for him.

TDK recovering from a calf strain. Not his first either.

Let’s hope Reidy proves that good rucks are not worth $1M, let alone $1.8M of salary cap space.

Max Gawn is a ruck on another level and worth every cent of his $1M salary. Unicorn.

Yes , Max is sensational . Hope he goes into coaching one day . Reckon he would be brilliant .

Not convinced on that last part. Rabble of a joint, so it’s a bit hard to gauge.

Certainly got a bit of ‘nous’ to pass on, no doubt about that. And young Kalani White may be the best prepared apprentice he’s had.

Is it 1 SSP, 1 Rookie and possibly 1 LT Injury re HOF?

Is that right?

If that is the case, there is still a spot for a KPP from the 2 train ons/VFL players. I can only presume they rated those 2, Phillips and Paea as better prospects.

If Elijah has been invited to train on, then he would have to be a short-priced fav to jag a spot, if he does everything right over the next 3 months.

Regards Cazzesman

We’ve got 43 on the list, so one spot open.

We’ll open up a 45th if O’Farrell is put on the LTI list.

The SSP window is open until Feb 20th. After that, it’s the MSD.

Hope our list management team don't forget Zac Foot who is trialling with the Crows . I"m predicting he will get picked up and become the new Shaun Mannagh . Mannagh was overlooked for years and when given his chance by the Cats has become a star . IMHO Zac Foot is easily as talented as Mannagh .

You had to ask...

We have one spare spot on our list and two LTIs. If I was the club I would be adding three players now, or when the window opens, and develop them. We will need that depth.

Yep.

May be a silver lining. Posted that in other thread.

Keep your chin up baggers. We may just balance up our list from this injury.

Durdin traded, Motlop ACL and White delisted leaves us with mid sized forwards Williams, Ainsworth Hayward, Hollands and genuine smalls Evans Byrne to squeeze into the team.

McKay, Kemp, O’Keefe/ Reidy and Moir want a spot in the forward line too. Our forwardline will be fine as long as we don’t lose a tall….well, Harry to be honest.

Go Blues

You’re seriously not tempting the Football Gods with that last statement are you?

With Cottrell on the sidelines, I would’ve been framed the market around Walsh, both Hollands & Chesser.

Feather in the cap for Will, but I can feel a worry wart growing…

Ollie didn’t participate. Do we know if Ellijah did? I can’t spot him in the photos: https://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/19441 ... s-off-2026

E Hollands looks super fit and leaner than previous years.

Kemp has beefed up.

Further to Frank's spy's info:-
- Pitto did participate in some drills but, like Jagga, had the no-contact cap on
- Haynes definitely participating for the most part
- Harry McKay bit of running, but then disappeared from the track
- Young blokes Cody Walker & Lewis Houndsome trained (aside from his light frame, you wouldn't know Cody was a junior)
- Ethan Phillips, Flynn Riley & Darcy Tucker from the VFL squad participated fully
- Frank Evans impressed me when his group was scrimmaging near me
- Talor Byrne did a few nice things, including one cracking mark in the match-sim, he's got something to work with
- Ben Ainsworth's burst of speed surprised me
