Didn’t know much about him tbh.

Presents well. I know it’s just talk and the proof will be in the pudding but I like what I hear.

Hope he brings a very hard edge that will impose and enforce elite standards.

Just continues to impress . All the new blokes Wright has brought to the Club seem to have that cool calm demeanour about them . Gotta feeling Wright don't like show ponies .

Agreed gents. My exact thoughts when I watched earlier today.

My early read is that he appears to have a bit of C in him and will drive elite standards, which is more than welcomed.

Internet tells me he’s managing cystic fibrosis as well.

Absolute cauliflower of an affliction.

From his interviews, certainty feels he has identified and addressing the coaching, in particular through the midfield and forward line, the game plan and player culture.

Everything we have highlighted. Go well Sir.

Gee he looks like a mean bastard, we had a close up look at him as we were sitting behind the Carlton reserves bench.

Later on (at quarter time I think) he walked past and Bondi called out to him, “Hey Mr Davies!”, he looked at us and I shat myself, I thought he was going to kill us on the spot, then Bondi says “thanks for everything!”, he smiles and walks off, chuckling as he stores the images of Bondi, Sydney, and myself in his memory bank to be dealt with later…….

For those of you wondering how he could hear Bondi from the boundary line, during and afl match, at a pretty full stadium, when we were about ten row back, you’ve obviously never sat next to Bondi…..

 It was a good moment. He looked…then a moment passed before he smiled…must be my funny looking head.

He has got a strange stare. Never forget that first look before the smile. Piercing.

Just as the players said at Sponsors night. He freaks them out expecting him to turn on them, but great guy.

He’s like that Head Master who walked by in the school yard, and all of the sudden you’d behave for that moment till he was gone. He has presence. Respect.

We are lucky to have him at the helm. I just know it. Scares me to say otherwise.
