I watch them all.

I really like your measured response Mick. They were great interviews.
Limited yes, but so was their time. You could see time ran out, but Preistley and Davies stayed as long as they could, respectfully.

If I put myself in Preistley and Davies shoes, firstly I know I'm too time poor to see every podcaster, journalist, TV personality, let alone every coterie member, Member, staff of Sponsors ... you know, everyone who wants a piece of you. Any interview needs to be respectful to the interviewee, interviewer and the audience. You don't want to see a shit show for headlines or heroics.

I would be selective. I wouldn't want to give someone who has a history of uncontrollable aggression and egotistical their 5 minutes of fame just because they think they have the most important questions to offer. That maybe a bit presumptuous but you can only go by history.

Maybe the so called 'hot heads' are all talk and would be more respectful than their podcast persona exudes. But, logically, its not worth the risk, if you had a choice of two amongst 6 podcasters.

Did you notice how tame the media's most controversial journalist was in his interview with Davies? I'm talking SEN's Kane Cornes. That's the point. You never know what you'll get, so better to err on the side of caution, imo.

You should limit the number you speak with and I think they chose well and we, the audience, got 2 flavours of podcasters who asked appropriate questions with the limited time they got. Both sides represented our club well, and stuck it up main stream media at the same time...and Kane came grovelling back.

I don’t know how to do linke but
The Jumper Punch Blue Sunday Episode 108
Vince starts talking about the fluffy podcasts last week and what should have asked
Totally agree with him
I no others won’t but I did watch both podcasts
Cazzeman and Blue Vain and others should watch the alternate review
And Vince’s credentials are solid
He like me loves the club but hates the bullshit the club spins

TJP are absolutely shithouse interviewers. Couple of years ago they interviewed David Parkin & spoke over the top of him.

Sooooo cringe

Nice to hear Chris Davies go into bat for the podcaster boys this morning . He had Kane and Kings on the Blackfoot .

Brilliant how he looked after those who support the club through thick and thin. Real Carlton people and Members.

He hit a couple back over the net. Respect.

I couldn't tell if they we just joshing around b/c Cornes and CD know each other pretty well or there was some actual feeling in the headlock CD applied to Kane's head?

They repeatedly went with 'little podcasts' to denigrate the fan community.

I'd suggest they probably have more listeners than SEN

And fewer commercials.

Yes , SEN is wall to wall ads . Its unbearable . You just can't listen to it these days . Was a good radio station once upon a time . Shame , they have killed the goose that played the golden egg .
