Carrots will probably get Davey.

Bannister and Longmuir wont get a game.

Not always. Throughout the year there was a big improvement in the quality of his disposal by foot...

I like the guy he works his butt off and plays for the team.
He is a good footballer however I think people on this site rate him as a gun which he aint.

I rate him as a pacey midfielder who can play the midfield both ways and play back pocket supremely well.

He is somewhere inbetween solid contributor and a gun because when he gets into the midfield he gets a bloody lot of the ball and generates a forward thrust with his ever-improving disposal.

This is not an argument, these are facts. Bugger off if you're going to throw out rubbish one-liners.

He is a natural ballwinner...

We dont have many of those.
So you play him where the ball needs to be won.

He should be in there given we've been last for possessions in the past few years - we struggle to get the ball

There was one instance during the game at Optus last year when we had Bentick, Walker and Carrazzo all starting in the centre square and while there they did quite well

There was also another instance when Simpson won the ball out of the centre, ran through the middle and booted it long to the point of the square where Kouta marked it one out and kicked a goal. Here's a plan I thought, but immediately after Simpson was taken out of the centre and Kouta moved back into the middle. :?

hey Agro....and then what happened?

The point about Simpson is that he does have genuine pace to break out of the centre....that's when clearence players are important to have sround these blikes, like Kouta, so we can get it to them.

Carazzo had two bad kicks in the Geelong game, but up until then I always thought his kicking was very good, with a lot of penetration and accuracy, but more importantly all done with poise. Good signs for a young man.

THE EMPIRE WILL STRIKE BACK!! when we get the ball first more than the opposition

Electric Blue....

if you are referring to Every aspect of his game then that implies kibking accuracr and pace too!!

He seems to have good pace, but getting better means ....express!!
I didn't know you could go from fast to express, because of the fibre configuration bla bla bla....whit men can jump.

Did you ask the oldman about the fastes in the club?

I'm interested in the big man department, to add to Livo and Edwards.

THE EMPIRE WILL STRIKE BACK!! whenour big men are faster than the opposition's, both in body and mind.

Livo is slow off the mark. If you want KPP who are out and out quick and do a bit more than run straight lines, there's:

Hartlett
and Bower.

Straightlines there's all three of them plus:
Edwards
Kennedy
Thornton (though at his best he has good turning speed)
Fevola
Fisher (might be a little more slick than I give him credit for here)
Waite
Setanta
Aisake (Looks to be mighty agile too so maybe up there with Hartlett and Bower)
Raso

and so forth.

But straight line pace is no good if you lose just about all of it when you change direction, enter agility.

Carrazzos kicking is getting a lot better.
I also think Carrazzo is very similar to Chad Fletcher being they find the ball and and do there job each week without the massive hype.

Play him either half back flank or on the ball.

Robertson, and Green must be stopped and id try Sporn on Green and Bannister on Robertson.

If they dont perform play them in the Bullants for the rest of the season. There preffered position is in the backline and if they get killed there why put them there again!

Cameron Bruce has not yet played a game this pre-season. Nothing listed on injuryupdate.com but some Demons fans are becoming frustrated with his absence.....will be interesting to see if he lines up for Rd1
