No doubt he tackles when he is in the thick of things - most of these would have been at centre bounces - but talking about chasing a guy to try and tackle him - not interested.

There's no doubt he can still rack up the stats, it just worries me that he no longer seems effective with them

I love Kouta at the clearances, he's the clearance king, but he's lost a lot of pace and agility with his knee injuries and it pains me to watch out and out hacks like McManus baulk around him almost effortlessly.

He lays tackles in close, but I can think of several occasions where he was simply unable to exert pressure on the ball carrier. It's times like those that I want to punch Johnson in the nose for wrecking Kouta's knee.
