I hope I'm wrong too, but I'd like to see strong signs.
I must admit because of Easter, i only watched the game on replay but I didnt notice Deluca do much. I was at round 1 and he was atrocius.
I dont really care aout his stats. In today's game anyone can get stats.

Except for Sporn and Bannister.

Up until this week he's certainly been ordinary to say the least... but he did show some good signs this week. Look, he's not going to be a gun CHF, but down the track if he's a 4th or 5th option behind Fevola, Waite, Kennedy and Fisher, he becomes pretty hard to match up on, and could be effective as a pinch hitter / ruck relief. He'd have to show alot more improvement though.

Surreal? If he was wearing gloves made from fish singing in the key of orange, then maybe!

De Luca lovers quote the early 2005 game against the Bombers as evidence of their love. In that game he had Whitnall fevola Betts and Waite all in the same forward line. I think you're on to something Wolfister. But if he's a 5th forward can we continue to just pay him peanuts?

The game against Collingwood in 2004 was a good one too, which was kind of similar - he stepped up as a decoy in the last quarter (while Davies was going crazy).

I doubt he'll be in demand, so I'd say we can keep paying him peanuts!
