I've been thru them all too....nothing to report.

To be nominated; the player must be under 21 at Jan.1 of that year, and must not have played more than 10 games to the start of that season.

So the chances of a player being nominated in two different years is very remote.

I will stake my reputation on the fact that someone was nominated TWICE in the SAME SEASON.. and I THINK it was Chris Scott....

if anyone can FIND the nominees list, PLEASE post them IN THIS THREAD so I can either GLOAT over your MORTAL BEINGS, or COWER in the CORNER, like an affirmed moron.

PLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this is a question in trivia tomorrow :)

Chris Scott WON the award in 1994....(nominated in the 7th round)

Chris Johnson of Fitzroy was also nominated in '94.

Scott was born in '76; and '94 of course was his first year.

I TOLD YOU...BRAUN WAS NOMINATED IN 1997 AND 1998

THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME A PLAYER'S BEEN NOMINATED TWICE FOR THE NRS

AFL site used to have a list of nominees since 1993. Can't find it anymore :garthp:

Interesting looking thru the nominations for Carlton players since the start. (1993)

Names like Ang Christou and Adrian Whitehead; James Cook: Troy

Bond; Scott Camporeale; Lance Whitnall; Darren Hulme; Kris Massie;

Brett Backwell; Ryan Houlihan; Trent Sporn; Jarrad Waite; Andrew

Walker; Karl Norman; Kade Simpson; Adam Bentick; and now Marc

Murphy.
