I reckon that Schwass has still got the shits cause Pagan traded him to Sydney for Shannon Grant. Who got the best deal outta that? Wayne is a has-been and Grant is still one of the elites of the comp. Sour grapes for mine.

Hmm, Wayne spent an entire article just saying "Things have changed: we kicked it long to Carey at North, Carlton don't have Carey so they don't kick it long"

Must be a slow news week for him...

Poorly written article.

While it looks like a dramatic shift with those numbers, it should be shown relative to the rest of the competition.

As Carlton have kicked long less over the last 3 years so have all the other teams.

In fact this year so far Carlton the 3rd highest long kicking team in the League at 38% long kicks behind Kangaroos (40.5%) and St Kilda (40.1%).

So relative to the competition we are still a long kicking side.

I thought the same thing the first game this year was totally different to the one against the swans - And our stats are still way down on other teams.

Question without notice JAR - Pagans stated the other week that 80% of the time the team leading at 1/4 time usually wins the game.

Is there any stats to back this up and how close to the mark is he

Or is this mission impossible to find

Why is it sour grapes? He doesn't really offer an opinon on which style is better or worse, just that he reckons Pagan has changed his ways and he shows some stats to back up his claim. Nothing wrong with that is there?

Nothing wrong with the statistics Humpy. Just a case of Schwass carrying a grudge against Pago Pago.

Check with TBB on that one camelboy, I think you'll find it is negative.

I was totally frustrated watching the Sydney game.

We let them posess the footy for way too long.

I ussually think Pagan is a good coach, however he didnt get us to man up enough.

Whenever there was a contest after Sydney had spilt the ball we looked dangerous and why did we zone up in the last quarter?

The game was there to be won!!!

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

We cant let Hawthorn dictate the terms

Carlton are the 3rd longest kicking team, Hawthorn are the 4th longest kicking team this year.
