I really get puzzled reading some of these posts. At the start of the season we all sit around in a TC 'circle' and we nod our collective heads and say things like: our talent is the worst in the league, we need to be patient, we don't want to win games because we'll miss out on draft picks, the most important thing is the development of our players, etc.
Then, when the season starts and we have a few losses, we start to say things like: we should be winning against opposition like Freo and the hawks cause they're beatable, guys like Russell and O'Hailpin should be having an impact by now, and we need to be teaching our kids to play attacking football.
What I'd like to know is this - what happens to the patience between the off-season and the real thing? Where does it magically disappear to?

Every one just needs to settle down and look at the reality of it all, and if you really think about it we are going ok. You take the best 2 forwards out of any team and they will struggle to kick goals... Take Lloyd and Lucas out of Essendon* and watch them struggle to kick a winning score... no chance.

The positive is that we kept trying and didnt give up, had we kicked straight i agree we probably would have ended the 3rd qtr in front, but we had a makeshift forward line.

We will be ok guys, we have good young guys coming through and we arent getting disgraced. Walker has been a huge standout, i just cant wait until he gets unleashed on the wing... he will be superb.
