3 games in a row now we've been f@#$ed over, the melbourne game was good umpiring but against freo, sydney and now hawthorn, destroyed.

How could they pay that free against Walker when he almost took that hanger, when last week Leo Barry did it to Fevola and got away with it?

Murphy free was ridiculous, it was blatant

In the first quarter the Hawks got 50m penalties for real namby pamby indiscretions.

Then one of our blokes (Russell?) took a mark in the backline and was scragged to the ground by his throat by Mongrel Mongrelsson (Brown) and nothing!

It's all so arbitrary and inconsistent.

We sat in front of 3 ugly slags that were married/going out with the umpires who did nothing during the game except open their filthy ugly mouths and have a whinge 'nobody in this crowd has ever read a rulebook' and other like comments and screaming at anyone who bagged an umpire. Honestly

Lappin's incident the correct free kick was given. I was 20 metres away from it. If he wants to pose he should go and play soccer. It was very poor on his behalf.

It's something I wish he'd excise from his game. He gets pinged every few games for feigning for something that wasn't there. A bit like Lance with his shepherding in a marking contest. He's fixed that part of his game up and Lappo is good enough to do the same.

Goldspink is an absolute disgrace and has had it in for us for years - maybe Lappin put on a bit of an act (although Spinky always seems to fall for Lloyd's histrionics  ), Goldspink only needs half a sniff and wants to impose his "personality" on a game and especially our games.

I agree with a previous poster, he is the Peter Cameron of our time - another umpire who used to stick it right up us.

If someone else knows - where his dad umpires in the Cricket season let me know will you.

Goldspink is a grandstanding idiot, but I begrudgingly have to admit he was correct on the Lappin decision. The way he was being a smart-arse about the Logies is uncalled for IMO, and not terribly professional. Stick to explaining your decision and stop being a smug wanker you idiot.

This is primarily a case of us not winning. When a side is struggling supporters and players want every decision because deep down they know they are not good enough. You don't hear supporters bagging the umpires when they win! Umpires will always make mistakes just like players. Usually it balances itself over the season. The tragedy is that when teams are down you get wankers like Goldsmith who's ego gets in the way and it makes it that much harder to take. Especially when a single decision can cost you a game!!!!

By the time i've seen a few dodgy umpiring decisions against the Blues in any particular game, I can't get my head above the idea that Demetriou is really gunning for the Club, to see it keep failing on the field and therefore bring it to it's knees financially.

I'm sure he use to have wet dreams about Collo grovelling up to him on his knees begging for a hand out and then having the Blues under the AFL's control. I actually wondered if there wasnt a bit of that already happening with our relatively quick decision on our alternative strip actually but I'm happy to put it down to my paranoia about the AFL.

I know - I need to get over it all a bit, but after the last few years, I've becomve a bit sensative about it all...

Sorry KK! I forgot to be one eyed and keen to blame some one else. Now that I live so far away I must admit it is hard to be as passionate as I once was.

Goldspink always has it in for us as did Peter 'I didn't mean to mark the ball' Carey. Number 22 last week against Sydney was probably the worst performance by an umpire I've ever seen though. Actually the umpiring standard this year as a whole has been very poor. Whether it's due to the new rules, the game speeding up or them just being blind maggots I don't know.
