Now Troops this is gunna be very controversial for some to appreciate. However I am really being purely hypothetical with my observations. Assume that we didn’t have an alignment with the Bullants. Imagine that we actually had a reserves team running out in Navy Blue every week. Even better playing the curtain-raiser when in Victoria….Dream on. Let’s assume we had to divide our list of 44 up into Seniors and Reserves. Pretty simple task I can hear you saying. Put aside the sentiment attached with loyal servants, legends, icons, face of the club etc. Try and divide up the list by ignoring suspensions and injuries and then pick a team that will take us forward in 2006.

Now I know fruitcakes like that old fart Nostradamus and his ilk with a crystal ball will say you should have a yet to debut 18 year old in the firsts as opposed to a 100 game player who is just marking time. Alternatively there will be posters who will say you can’t drop “Fredâ€

Lost me after your ridiculous player rankings in your first step.

I'm not sure if he has the B&F winners curse of the past few years or still got the shits over Collo's remarks or he has a niggling injury other than the virus he was supposed to have this week. Let's face it, we all love him and he has been an absolute superstar, but facts are facts. He appears disinterested, unpassionate and seems to have gone back into his shell. He just doesn't chase when beaten for the pill. If he is in front and takes a mark, he appears ok, but watch the footage of the first 4 games, when he is second to the ball or in a pack situation. Now maybe it is a predetermined team decision that others like AB are to get down and dirty and they want Kouta to keep his feet and use his upper body strength to get his arms free and then give off to those who can actually run.

You might have noticed that he is spending a lot of time up forward rather than in the guts and stints on the pine as well. I'm not sure, but if he doesn't start to get some meaningful stats soon, the bells will be a tolling!! :(

Bugger the first part - the team looks good.

Shit, I have posted about having those players in the forward line all at once.

I want us too kick bigger scores.

Forward line is too tall.

Rest is good though. Will be better when the youngins develop.
