I'm pretty sure that was "all the way with LBJ" in reference to Australia entering the Vietnam war alongside the US with Johnson in the presidency.

Focus in the article that this means Lance will be playing back. Synbad will love this one from Pagan:

Quote:
"He's been our best player this year. If you counted our best and fairest after just five games he'd be in front."

Now I understand why Sinners suddenly is in the "sack Pagan camp".

Yeah he also says "i wish we had 2 of Lance so we can play one up front and one down back" (Down back where he gets thrashed)
then he says "Cant play him in the forward line because were too top heavy..with Fev and Waite Fisher Kennedy etc"Heavy with Lance alright...

But in a nutshell you have it... surplus for the forward line and not really a defender...

Pagan talks shyt to media.. but hey lets all think Lance is an integral part of this team shall we??

Synbad did you notice there was no mention of Adrian Deluaca by Denis about our top heavy forward line, could this mean he will be dropped?

yes i did notice that... i think its a little sign.

For the record im a huge Kennedy fan from what ive seen of him.

Will add a few things to the forward line and the team. over the decade
Hard work
Physicality
Target man.

Stuff we dont already have.

All the best to JK.
Just hope he doesn't get battered around too much like Travis Cloke did in his first few games.

Go Blues! :)

hopefully fev and waite will look after him a bit, also last year when cloke made his debut, tarrent and rocca were injured and so more often than not he got the best defender, ie fletcher and scarlett ect who probably welcomed him to afl with a little bit of rough stuff, i think in josh's debut he is more likely to get the 3rd maybe 4th best defender behind, fev, waite, fish

anyway gl to JK by all reports seems like a kid who really wants to play afl and play for the club good on him maybe the rest should take notice of his effort on sunday

Anyone know what the tattoo says on the inside of his left arm??

Quite suprised me that he has a tattoo, he doesn't look the type.

I'm pretty sure it says Est. 1987

I'd like to wish him all the best. He must be a special player as the CLub wont's let Mike & Dan interview him!

Seriously, theres soemthing special about the debuts of young, u18's recruits to a Club.

I think back to 2004 and the debuts of AB, Walks and even Carrots who proved my VFl watching skills completely wrong were of course far more exciting than those of...

Johnson, mcGrath, Harford, Clarke, Teague, Morrell, Bowyer, banno, Stevens, Mott and Kenna, and Scotland...

and those of Chambers and Longmuir in 2005.

We've welcomed AB, Carrota, Walker, betts, Russell and Setanta over the last 2 years, add Murphy and Kennedy and that's the beginning of the resurgence. Doesnt mean they'll all make it - but trusting to youth, and their skill, and their future careers, it makes it a lot easier to watch and a lot easier to hope.

It will be good to see him running around but we need to give these young guys time. T-Bird never got time and I think we are still seeing the effect it had on him.

Why does Fisher have to play in the forward line?

Can't he be tried in defence?

Synbad- as we have to have Whitnall in the team this year - where would you play him for the rest of the year?

Would you have him coming on and off the bench?

I think McLaren should be tried for longer in the ruck. The ruck should be an area we could exploit Collingwood - if they play to potential.

For mine, Whitnall should play 3rd defender, Thornton at CHB and encouraged to be creative, and bring in someone for fullback... preferably a young player (like Hartlett) or, if totally necessay.. Livo or Saddington
