I think the fact that we have only marginally more members than the Western Bulldogs speaks volumes. They have done really well to lift the club, but we have not put in half the effort.

One of the problems with Carlton is that everyone stands around expecting everyone else to fix the club. We need fewer spectators and more do'ers.

I don' think the membership figures are entirely based on our performance- just look at Collingwood's. I think that everybody has found following the Bullants and the Socceroos more interesting.
