It was suggested on Club Corner that tomorrow there will be a press conference and the announcement will be the most exciting news to happen to the club for the last four years. Let's wait and see. I suspect it has something to do with the redevelopment of the ground!

well Coutts did say its not upto the club to make the announcement so i would assume The State Government along with the AFL and Melbourne city council would play a part

Settle down, there must have been a mistake. I'm not coming down to Melbourne until August.

Is Elroy finally fronting with the beers?

There better be good news because I don't want to read another 20 pages about Pratt bailing us out because of a Brian Taylor rumour.

Surely not Windy Hill with the huge profits Essendon* make each year?

I went to the Bendigo V Tasmania game there and it looked fine to me without needing a huge upgrade that the Bombers can't afford on their own.

Today is the conference for all Clubs - at Richmond. I think it includes funding for many grounds.

Friday is our special announcement which should combine the AFL funding with State funding with something else perhaps?

Go Blues,

M

Great news SAS

Co-funded by the Club... with cash from where? are we going on a fundraising expedition? Will the redevelopment be subject to the Club coming up with a few million on its own?
