I'm sure we drafted Haami Williams but he doesn't appear in the Blueseum yet. I know he didn't play games for the seniors but Im sure I saw him in the reserves.

Any memories?

Number 38?? His mum was nice, we talked to her a bit & she used to love our photos. I was a little fan girl.

Sorry molsey, I've got nothing.

CK though may be of assistance.

Haami Williams was drafted at pick no. 19 in the now defunct Mid Season Draft of 1993 from South Barwon in the VCFL.

He never appeared likely to me at any stage of his short stay at Carlton.

Tony Lynn was our top pick in that draft at no.6.....1994-96.....27 games....14 goals.
DOB....19-04-68....178cms...78kg.....from Brisbane. (Originally S.A.)

The only other player from the 32 picks in that draft to get a few games was Dale Kickett at pick 11 from Claremont to Essendon*.

He had small dreadlocks in year 11 & was present in this post.

Excellent at athletics aswell as footy

I once heard Steve Silvagni calling him for the ball at training pronouncing his name to rhyme with Amy (should be army)

Was part kiwi I believe.

I rememeber watching him as a kiddie (12yo) footballer dominating his league in Geelong (he was a class above...saw him because a mate was umpiring the game) and then actually knew him as a track & field athlete(the sport I'm involved in) between seasons during summer. Remember him playing a few games in the Seconds at Carlton.
