Murphy is still a chance to win the NAB rising star award. You might remember in 1995, Nick Holland only played half a season and beat Campo to win the award. Murphy by a fair amount of votes would be leading it at this stage.
We still may walk away with some individual awards at the end of the year.
yeah good point about holland but i think he may have been a bit better off because he actually finished off the year and missed is 7 games through the middle of the season. at least we can still have some hope. even if he doesnt get it at least we have the luxury of knowing he will be a better player than whoever does get it.
