Interesting read. Seems Jacko and Jesse D need to bang harder on the door to get a promotion.

Pagan must have a door made of steel because both of these boys, especially Jackson, have been playing good footy the past two weeks and must have splinters in their hands from banging so hard.

We would've loved to have played Craig Flint, but he broke his ankle a couple of weeks ago against Werribee

Yeah, yeah. Wasn't Denis saying he needed to knock a bit louder as well????

If Denis cant see that Smith and Jackson have the attributes to be AFL players then im worried. Its not about getting 50 touches in the VFL,its about showing the vital signs required to cut it with the big boys. And Smith and Jackson, along with Flint before injury struck him down, have shown enough to be given a go.

Jesse might be named in the squad tomorrow.

If he gets promoted that's great news.

Unfortunately I get agitated reading most of Denis' hyperbole these days.
He's become a master of telling people what they want to hear instead of what's actually occurring.

Some people are saying Smith has been elevated... will have to wait until tomorrow I suppose.

Wouldn't expect anything less from Denis. Are you expecting him to come out saying losing is paramount?

This is a standard statement in the media by a coach of a football club - we're aiming to win as they are paramount!!! Wow, ground breaking stuff!!!!

We've been made favourites. Is that the first time all year?
