Also they talked about Lance 200 match and normally you get the match ball and the blues officials where pretty peeved all 7 match balls where signed by the 3 umps for the day

I cannot imagine any player wanting an umpire to sign his balls [all of 7 of them in this instance - what a man!]

I hope the powers that be send a 'please explain' letter to the AFL. I would have thought that was highly inapropriate.

Other stuff discussed was

Paul Bower really enjoyed first game experience and is a definate for the Sydney Game ... then will play in the Bullants Finals Campaign

Eddie - talked about how he had settled in and has 40 games under his belt and of course that goal on the weekend from the boundary.
He was going to pass back to Fev but then said stuff it will have a shot not expecting it to get in and was pretty rapped when he threaded it.

Edwards - spoke about how he played in the Seconds and worked himself into the Bullants main team .. also his experience of how he has had to work to get up to AFL / VFL standard and now is looking forward to the Nullants finals campaign

Interesting point both Bower and Edwards have said how the Bullants success has been as they play like a team and when the Blues players come into the side the integrate with the game plan. Everything in the bullants tactically is planned and everyone knows there roles and begs question why we havnt had this in the senior blues team.

In all fairness, regardless of Pagan and our performance this year, I highly doubt that we enter a game with no plan in mind. Lets not get too carried away

It's one thing to have a plan, it is another thing entirely to execute it as planned. Obviously the job of the opposition is to make sure you cant carry out your plan. Better opposition with better containment strategies etc = much more difficult to follow through on a plan.

prob not comunictaed properly i think the guys where talking about the success of the bullants this year and how they all worked in a team enviroment and that even when the Blues seniors played in the Bullants they slotted in like they belonged in the team.

I think the comment made of the senior squad is that there have been some great signs individually but as a team it hasnt been as successful

The Bullants have been successful both individually and as a team unit

Fair point Wolfe. I think the Swans are a perfect example of this. My girlfreind goes for the Swans so I see a few games. They appear to be a far closer unit than most teams. That seems to translate into success because they are so even across the group without tons of stars.

All jokes aside, maybe it's the norm to ensure balls aren't sold or auctioned off as 'match balls' when in fact they are not.
