Young, exciting, passionate! So says our membership slogan for 2007 (apparently they ignored my 2007 - Fancy a Shag? slogan). Underneath the slogan stand the three men to lead us to the promised land - Fev, Murphy and Walks.

But something hit me on the train this morning....Fev (25), Murph (3) and Tex (1). Add those numbers together and you have 29. If you scan forward on the calendar to September 2007, you'll find that the last Saturday in September is on the 29th.

Dont want to get ahead of ourselves, but you can't fight fate? Will we be there one year earlier than expected? Trust the numbers!

He had to carry that very large tackle bag in the race. If that's not a handicap, I don't know what is...

Would have won it by a "long head" even from about 4 metres instead of 8.

I went back and looked at some details of Fev's 1998 Draft Camp.

Guess what?.....he was the fastest player at the Camp over 20 metres.

(25 x 3) - 1 = '74

(25 x 3) + 1 = '76

(25 - 3) x 1 = '22

(25 x 1) + 3 = '28

(3 - 1) x 25 = '50

(3 + 1) x 25 = '00

We didn't win the premiership in any of these years......

......... another more likely co-incidence.
