An employee at my dad's work is about to go on maternity leave and as a present he wanted to give a baby Carlton membership as her husband is a Carlton supported and member. Can this membership be done before the baby is born or only after?

Thanks
Nikki

whenever you want but it might be wise to wait unless you know the date the baby will be born - cos you get a certificate with the babys name and birth date on it

I signed up the day after my daughter was born this december just gone - the only reason you would need to do it after the birth is so you can give the baby's name and birthdate.

If you know this already then there shouldnt be an issue getting the membership before the birth

Without me looking to much, what does a baby membership cost?

Of course I will find out but just wondering off the top of anyones head.

I have 6 weeks till I buy my boys one.

$27.00 - you get a membership card - the membership letter reminding the baby they can upgrade the membership at any time - a certificate with name and birthdate on it - and a cute photo frame complete with dents and scratches

They should up the price and include a carlton teddy bear or something like that.

My mate signed my daughter up the day she was born (cheers Android). I signed my friend's (a collingwood supporter) up the day he was born.

When his photo frame arrived last week it REALLY gave him the shits.

Whatever happens in the long run, I can always say "hey, you were a carlton member FIRST kid".

After. Scarlett was born the weekend we played Collingwood so couldn't sign her up until November
