Pagan said the group still had a positive outlook with the evenness of the competition helping them believe a win was possible against any side.

Now steady down Denis.... A win was possible but not good for the bigger picture !!

This man is a marvel.

A walking cliche.

Denis' point about the evenness about the competition is the most disappointing aspect about our season for mine.

What this season has shown is that if you really want to win you probably will. If you're intensity is up and you're pressure is high and you play with a fierce determination the chances are you're going to win the game. Skill and talent of course will win out sometimes but they haven't been as big as factors this season in determining results in my opinion. When we've gone in hard for the footy and shown a real passion and desire we've looked really good, we just haven't been able to produce this over a whole game, we can only do it in quarters here and there.

I think that had we really wanted it we could and would have won a few more games.

Has he conceded this week already!

Quote:
Carlton coach Denis Pagan has steadfastly refused to lash out at his players despite a six-game losing streak that has the proud club sitting at the foot of the AFL ladder.

We've only lost 5!

Denis's tone and refusal to have a go at the players are attitudes that arent ones that would lend themselves to ill feeling between players and coach. He seems to be saying all the right kind of things.

Follow the plan - you are dreaming Synbad if you think this guy has a plan and this weeks selections shows there is not one hint of any type of plan. We turn teams that are out of form into world beaters
