I disagree to a point Synbad....I'm talking about intensity from the first minute to the last...the intensity you COME OUT with...intensity can be created but it is also something that's meant to be there from the beginning Synbad...so whilst you're right nobody can stop the rot and kickstart us we should be displaying intensity from the first bounce! Not waiting for something to spark us into action!

but that intensity is worked on from game to game 2005
For example the little intensity we have had has diminished.... because just like we have no Voss to kick start it in a game/// we have noone to kick start it in a season and from one game to the next.... so it just slowly fades away.....

In my opinion Denis will still keep his options open to trade Campo and Lance is definitely gone.
My sources tell me Lance wants to go anyway..... He wont be at the club next year. He knows it.

Campo would be a left field trade .. cos he has little no trade worth.
Who the hell would take him at his age and what he has shown???

But where there is life theres hope....

I would trade Campo if we could, but chances are we wouldn't get much for him.

If we could get a Knoble type ruck for example I would take the deal as it fills one of our holes.

We need about 4-5 young, quick, fearless midfielders to compliment Simpson, Walker, Russell and Carrazzo.

We need to put the building blocks in place ASAP to build a future midfield like Geelong's, where the list of young running players is endless.

Synbad, let's agree Pagan has given up and is coaching to get the two first round draft picks. That's my opinion, and futhermore I wouldn't be surprised if it's a directive from the President of the club. Our list isn't capable of winning a premiership so rebuild like you have to in the AFL system by finishing at the bottom of the ladder. Knowing how pragmatic Collins is, he probably thought 2004's honourable win loss ratio put us a further year behind in our development. Coach the team to lose by 6+ goals per week because if you coach them to lose by 3 goals they might just end up winning. Our list is capable of better performances than we currently have to watch but all the battlers from other clubs that stood up last year are going through the second year 'Justin Murphy' syndrome. And pagan has to be content to let it happen that way, three of them might stand up in the next few years with some younger real talent around them and coaching from Pagan, that's the best we can hope for.

[/list]

Pagan can't come out and say 'well I think we need the PP and so we aren't trying to win but I need to look s if i am so i fire 'em up at 3/4 when the game is shot and gee it looks good - course that bloody draw against Port damn near gave me a heart attack!'

Plus when assessing our list remember

we have Kouta Scotland Campo Stevens Davies Whits Houla & Bowyer (I've probably missed a couple) who appear to have no idea how to chase, i mean rally chase, not jog along but actually run hard and fast and we have a group of the older players who appear to have no faith in the kids. Shit did you see Bryan kick that goal - did anyone run to him????

This is a crap team.

Pagan is letting them show their crappiness to prepare us for the next phase at the end of the year.

You've seen the light, acknowledgment that Koutafidies is not accountable
