Did what I was supposed to today... ducked down to the local Lalor reserve to watch the thrilling DVFL match between the Bloods and the Eltham Panthers.

Missing from the Bloods line up was former Collingwood stars Ben Kinnear, and the mercurial Scott Cummings ( ) who was sighted outside the rooms after the game puffing away.

The Eltham side featured former Bulldogs nugget Adam Contessa.

Not a bad match. Lalor got up. But the highlight of the match was the appearance on the sidelines of local boy Lance Whitnall, who pulled up in his Commodore stationwagon with his mates. Green can in hand, abusing some of the softer Eltham players, like number 34, who was shit.

Good times

Good to see people going to the local footy but your 25 why aren't you playing?!

No ticker

I'm a cricketer first, and a lover second.... that reminds me to get into training! (for both)

Yes, Stuart Mangin got drafted to Sydney, if I recall, from the Knights. I wonder why Shane didn't go back to Lalor, though. He's from a strong bloods family.

Incidentally, I half expected my primary school chums to be lining up for Lalor, but none were. I didn't follow their careers through highschool, because I went away to Grammar school 8)

Anyone know where Mark Kinnear plays?

gotta get to 400 somehow....

but on a serious note, just to make you happy PJ...ill voice my full opinion on the matter....

local footy is a great thing...i love going down to watch my brother play and if im lucky, get a sausage from the BBQ...unfortunately some clubs are finding it hard to come by money and are not able to provide a BBQ and just go with the canteen, which is still good...i was boundry ump last year and got 10bux a game....that was fun...got to cop the abuse first hand...and i love the way cars beep their horns whenever their team gets a goal...

i also dont put much effort in cause when i do try to right something constructive i get like 4 replies and feel like no-one cares....so now i just rattle off pointless one liners in an attempt to get noticed....carry on with what you were doing then...you probably didnt read this anyway...
