We really need to improve our tackling execution.
The effort in attempting to tackle is ok but the opposition just break the tackles too easy. Whether it's a lack of strength or poor execution it's costing us big time.
Tackling and disposal under pressure are key things to work on in the coming preseason.

people who went to training will see this, the way Liba taught our players to tackle is, open both of your arms out, bend down your back, and hold the oppostion's hip area, ducking your head under the opposition's arms. I think a lot of times our player did do that during the match, but this is @#$%&! ineffective!! Holding the hips leaves both of the arms of the opposition players free, which they can give a handball easily, which makes our tackling useless!!

What we don't do after doing that is shove them to the ground... we just hang on and let them get a handball out....

Our tackling technique is so frustrating - we seem to be able to hold on to the player, but they still get the handball off. FFS, when you tackle your opponent, pin at least one of their arms in the tackle.
F*CKING BASIC STUFF!!!!

Eddie Betts = Best tackler at the club.... you need heart and appetite to tackle.
