Disagree entirely - you add 3 skilled midfielders to that group and the rest would lift. We would have beaten the Pies and probablyu Freo away and we wouldn't have decended the spiral staircase to nothingness. Confidence is an amazing thing and when you don't have it, you play like geese. And that's what's happening.

Call me optimistic but 3 good midfielders and our forwards/ defenders could play with a bit more pizzazz.

Optimistic! :P

No realistic! - Have a look at the Tigers.....

Thanks for the support mikkey. But if you read the M&D article on the site at the moment you'll realise I am on the very optimistic side. You'd have thought reading that article (i just had a re-read) that the Bullants were fantastic and we had a young undercurrent of good players!

I've been really disappointed with Kouta this year. If he is not fit then he should not be playing. If he is fit then he needs to give up the captaincy & hang up the boots. Firstly he was outmarked by Fletcher last week & then Ackland (?) this week. Now if he can't outmark them then ok but he did not use his body at all to at least create a contest. We need our captain to put his body on the line, run hard & lead his team. I have not seen that for a long time. He looks like he has lost interest. I've always said it will be a sad day when he retires but the way he is going, most supporters are going to be glad to see the back of him.

Campo, while I thought he played a good game on the weekend, think he should go as well. He also looks like he is just playing so he can collect his pay check. He is not accountable, is undisciplined & is dragging down players like Nick Stevens and to a lesser extent, Scotland.

I totally agree with Ponkstars thoughts on Walker, if there is one good thing to come out of this year it is that Walks will have learned something from the great players he is playing against each week. Can't wait for Pagan to unleash him next year so we can finally see what he can do.

Waite, Fevola & Carrazzo continue to be exciting players for the future (ok, not Fev this week). But, with Fev having not even played 100 games yet & Waite & Carrots not even 50 then we can't be anything but happy with their efforts this year.

I'd also like to know what Tony Liberatore is doing at the club. He is supposed to be one of the greatest tacklers around yet we can't seem to lay a tackle... what the??

End rant here

I agree with your rant Danielle....except the little bit about Campo playing a good game this past weekend.

Despite the stats and the newspaper votes, I felt his first quarter was really good, but he was very poor for the following three.

As for Kouta...whatthe?

Early on he was exciting, but lately...either injured, and we shouldn't be playing him...or he is not interested, in which case he should be ashamed...

I can't think of a 3rd option? Help me out, i don't want to feel this way about Kouta :(
