Am I to assume that next week when Fev kicks 5, that it's because the delivery was 1000% better from the midfield or because he's pulled his finger out?

Maybe we should ask, Peter Bosustow, Mark Maclure and Ross Ditchburn.

Well now there's some names. Players of a different era who commanded nowhere near the $18,182 per game that Fev commands. In fact Maclure who was a true loyal servant who's heart bled blue would be lucky to have made that much in his 13 years at the club.

By the way if you're talking about plyaers who sacrificed their game and put their body on the line - Sellers was the man! Agro you should ask Sellers what he thinks about these "cowboys" who hold the club to ransom.

Beat you to it by 4 days, Rod. We wished Sellers a Happy Birthday a few days ago and only only a few of us joined the party - belated wishes can be sent to this link

Thanks for some great memories. You might not have been the biggest or most skillfull CHF going around but every week you were totally commited to the cause and that determination helped Carlton win a lot of games.

You dont hold down the major key forward post in 3 winning Grand Finals (79, 81, 82) at only 188cm unless you had some ticker. Greatly underated player and made our "Mosquito Fleet" walk that much taller.

Good call Jarusa.

Fev is our best deliverer of the ball to players leading inside fifty. We need two of him. I bet he would love to be on the end of one of hisown passes. Also i noted that every time he got a pozzie in the midfield we had a shot at scoring within four more posessions. He is very creative. Too bad he isnt more nimble.

Not a lot of room for him in arc today. Sacrificed his own game for the team. No Problem with him.

Club29 you are a true believer. Agree with what you said, except that Fevola sacrificed his game for the team, there's no way that happened. Now Fisher is back Fevola should play as a true CHF for the rest of his time at Carlton and demonstrate the skills you rightly say he possess.

There is no way that Fev can play CHF. Not tall enough, doesn't have the leap and our midfield is not skillful enough to have a leading type CHF.

Agro good to see that Sellers was another blue cancerian - loyal to the club, family (team) orientated, etc. Just wish that more of our players put the performances on the park with the tickets they have on themselves.

not tall enough! Fev is the same height as Riewoldt and is more strong. But i do think he should play in the position in which he is paid for at that is FULL FORWARD

If Fev at 189cm is the same height as Reiwoldt at 196cm then I will walk up and down Bourke Street, naked in a stooped position.

However, having made my sarcastic point - Fevola is however taller and probably heavier than Mark Maclure who made CHF his position from about 1978 through to 1985.

Darn, you're so right, it's actually $18,182 per game...

Back to the bar, lads :?

This year? If you are going to be clever try thinking first.

Check the posts, lovey, never mentioned "this year". The posts were always in reference to next year.

If you're going to be STUPID - keep posting...
