Kadewatch! 8)

Dang, this is another one of those URL's that doesn't work with the automatic redirection via carltfonfc.com.au. So, please replace carltonfc with afl when using the above link.

Be interesting to see how his career pans out compared our "other" potential first pick in the 2002 Draft.

We were very surprised to see him still available at Pick 45 as "The Seagull" had rated him a top 20 pick.

Congratulations Kade Simpson. :D

It's the "Pencil-Thin" factor Agro... same reason Brad Fisher wasn't picked up till late IMO.

Onya Kade! Keep up the great work and hit that gym during the pre-season! :D :D

Averaging around 15 disposals in his last 4 or 5 games. Thats a mavellous effort for someone who is as inexperienced as he is. Walker has got near those figures once in his career.

2002 Phantom Draft had Kade at 20 and Cammy Croad at 43 or so...Glad Kade's worked out well at least. :D

Just watched the replay and Simmo was fantastic. His tackling puts some of the other players to shame really. For a little guy he's not afraid to put his body in. He has excellent skills and good awareness plus enough pace to be able to rarely be caught with the ball. Good contested mark he took as well. He'll come good, he hits targets and isn't afraid to back himself. Starting to really cement a place in the line-up as a winger/HBF/HFF.

I watched the replay as well and was even more impressed with him. Good vision and some of his handballing was very good and set blokes up. Carrazzo looks even better than I thought. His kicking is fine now and even on his left foot gets the job done.Stevens must have been carrying an injury the last 2 months as he was not remotely the lethargic player he has been.
We were very good apart from the backline which made so many mistakes.
Campo out of a back pocket where he is forced to be accountable sounds good to me.
