reading this article and listening to this cow on 3AW today, im fed up with the constant attacks and insults she gives Brendan. Throughout the 3aw interview it was insult after insult. In this article she continues on, i mean for flower sake. What is her problem. So he made a mistake, get over it, but to kick someone while they are down is a low act and a cheap shot if you ask me and im fed up with the constant insults that are thrown at Brendan from people especially from Cowline Wilson. He didn't kill anyone, he didn't rape anyone, he didn't hurt anyone (paul 'the faggot barman' seems to fine and enjoying the spotlight) so get off his back. He doesn't have an alcohol problem. He had been off the grog for a year and is just about to do it again. And for caro to keeping stating that he does and the attack that really pissed me off from teh article "the Blues are clearly wondering what their highly-paid star full-forward is doing in Switzerland or Amsterdam — with Fraser Gehrig — or wherever he has woken up today." that bit there really pissed me off :x. So flower off Caro and stop bagging him and this great club.

Sorry but i had to get this off my chest.

And so you should...you save me from doing it...I feel better now...I'm not alone.

Very degrading for Fev...over the top in anyone's language.

The video footgae doesn't show him drunk, it shows him putting a headlock on a hedaline seeking headcase.

Goodonya Fevolution

I'm glad that she had a go at the AFL and its (lack of) responsibility in all of this.

Fev can be a few stubbies short of a six pack at the best of times, but he is still twice the person that scrag of a lizzard will ever be.

What was Caro's reporting like on the Richmond players who put their lives, and the lives of others, at risk when they chose to drive drunk?

I'm not usually one to come out and bag the admin for everything, but you can't help but feel that if we were a stronger club this wouldn't be happening.
Remember Byron Pickett totalling his car in the off-season, what, two years ago? Remember how she started to rattle that cage only for it to suddenly stop? Port stopped her. They started a whisper campaign about racism and put the pressure on Wilson to back up her comments about Pickett and she became, suddenly, very subdued. Despite the fact that he really did total his car and nearly kill himself.

I don't seem to remember this level of outrage over Brogan smashing an Adelaide supporter in the face... Hmmm... Wonder why?

Generally I don't mind Wilson. But she's like a dog woth a bone at the moment - Especially when you consider that Fevola has had three (public) drinking related mishaps in 5 years.

This is our time to be whipping boys. I understand... But I don't have to put up with it.

I actually think what she has to say about Fevola is fair.

The good part about the article is that she comes out swinging and heavily blames the AFL for allowing the situation to occur in the first place.

Well Port were fortunate they had the racism card to play, what can Carlton do ... suggest she is discriminating against drunken yobbos? There was a little bit of publicity about Brogan but I don't recall there being video footage. This footage ensures he carries on 10 times longer than it would have, had it just been one groups word against anothers.

I just don't see what Carlton can say or do to make Wilson or any of the media stop talking about Fev right now. Perhaps if they punished him, it would stop but then nobody ever gets punished until they return to the club. They're not going to ring him in Europe and fine him via telephone.

You can laugh Synbad, but if Fev doesn't come back, we'll probably pick up Kent Kingsley.

and he seemed, also, during his time in Ireland to be having some heavy personal issues, according to the team.

If there is any truth in this - and I am surprised he is not gone home to his wife and young baby - then I am concerned about next season.

The major reason why Fev has pulled his socks up is his wife and the responsibilities of having a family. If there are problems there (and it is a big IF) - which Caro is hinting - we might be in for problems.... Fev is not the type that can handle personal problems well.

i've just had enough of all this constant bagging of Fev. And when she said 'wherever he woke up today', i mean were does she get off, who does she think she is. She doesn't know Brendan, she doesn't know how good of a person brendan is.

Exactly. If you actually read the article you'll see that it is quite balanced and lays a fair portion of the blame on the AFL.

I know Carro likes to sink the boot into us every and then, but I actually think this particular article is a good one.
