Seriously, who have WB beaten? Melbourne who were insipid, Gold Coast (and only by 22 points), and cellar dweller Adelaide.

I hardly call that playing yourself into form. They got pantsed by St Kilda the week before that.

The WBD are shite, and we should smash them if we're any good.

..melbourne aren't much chop this year, the only reason the dawgs won was cos it was at etihad with the dee's on the ride down.. ..i watched that game, and the dawgs made plenty of shite decision making plays and fumbled a lot.. ..a few nice passages true, but all in all beat a side that played a shitter game than the tigers did vs us.. ..and that was a good game played by the dogs, at their best this season they haven't beaten anyone decent.. ..we should roll them, and roll them well..

Ratts says Duigan will be back in the seniors this week and Curnow will also play this week but "probably" not at senior level.

I'm glad to hear that on both fronts. Good to hear Duigans' back in the team and happy that Curnow is getting a run in the 2's, instead of coming straight back into the 1's. Since he injured his shoulder against the saints he hasn't been at his best.

Why not houlihan again ? Makes for the perfect sub - comes on late when the game has opened up due to fatigue and proceeds to slice the opposition up with his smarts and skills. As a senior player who has had soft tissue concerns it's the perfect role for him IMO

This is a fair argument. With a percentage difference of about 40, we SHOULD be able to account for these muppets.

The Western Bulldogs are a rabble and need to rebuild.

Having watched their last couple of games on the telly, it's apparent that they just fall over for no reason. They also smacked us by 68 points in Round 15 last year. Time for some retribution and a restoration of the natural order of things.

..would rather try to build up real match fitness in him, too many sub games in a row isn't the best i would think..

Bored so I checked.

They've beaten the Lions, Suns x 2, Richmond, Adelaide, Melbourne.

Lost to Collingwood (badly), Geelong (badly) Hawthorn (badly), Sydney, St Kilda, West Coast (badly) Freo and those brave Bombers.

I hope the players are not going to take this game lightly like a lot of your are doing on here.

This is going to be a tough game, and we need to be on our game despite what the dogs have done this year. If we play to our best, we should win but if we are not switched on and are thinking ahead to next weeks game we will be in for a rude and embarassing awakening.

Exactly like a lot of you are doing........... with threads about the Collingwood game already.

One game at a time. Each game from now on in will be tough.

I tend to agree.
Not because I think players would take this lightly, but because Dogs and Saints have both started to turn around their slump.
Should be a really good game.

Yes and I believe Ratts has mentioned our woeful showing against them last year (when we were in 5th spot and % off top 4 and got pummeled).

So eight of their points were given by default against the Suns.
I hope we get to play the Giants twice next year.

http://finalsiren.com/AFLLadder.asp?AFL ... 14-1&Go=Go

Going into Round 15 last year we were even stevens on points but a 23% gap in percentage.

This year we're 18 points and a 40% better team.

Unless something goes horribly wrong, a committed effort like last week should net a big win. Centrebet calls a 4 goal win to the Blues as the line.

Something has to go wrong for this not to be 4 points.

Collingwood aside, the danger game is Essendon* once again.

I don't think threads posted on TC are going to have much impact on what happens out on the ground on Sunday. Just a hunch.

True, but it would not surprise me in this mixed up world for a sporting team to mirror its online supporter base.

Show this to the boys:

" But assistant coach Paul Williams says Carlton's huge win in Round 15 was due more to Richmond's bad form than Carlton's supremacy.

"You look at it (the margin) and you probably dismiss it a little bit," Williams said following the Bulldogs' main training session on Thursday.

"A lot of the game was just disappointing from Richmond's point of view to take too much out of that."

"We will look at the (Round 14) West Coast game and see what they did well and what other sides have done well against Carlton." "
