Kade=Messiah Nah, seriously, he's shown a lot in the last two weeks. Good on him.

I'll put his form down to the pasting I gave him, a la Robert Walls .

Now if only all the other guys I thought were duds started playing well - we'd win the flag next year!

This response only confirms how weak you are verbeek. Be a man - don't come up with rubbish that he's turned it around 'cos of your "pasting". Go on , say it - "I WAS WRONG".

3rd qtr yesterday I saw Kade Simpson do something that I havent seen a Carlton player do for at least 3 seasons. He picked up the ball at 1/2 back more or less even with his opponenet and then "RAN AWAY" from a bloke that was trying to tackle him. That's right he ran away, not run down, ran away. Oh and at the end of the run he put the ball on Fisher's chest I think.

When was the last time we had somebody that could actually use a bit of pace to get out of trouble without sacrificing skill and delivery??

Go Simmo, you are a big part of the reason that I watch every week!!

It's not unusual to read things on this forum that makes me frown. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, so I still enjoy taking part.
Alas this morning I am flabagassted to read how many fellow T.Cers watch Big Brother.
Oh the dissappointment.
Regards Pedro.

I agree he's an exciting talent to watch. And to think that he's only now starting to find his feet, and can only get better (as his body and confidence develop)!

Simmo, Simmo, Simmo.....you bloody beaudy.

I thought you were a dud, but I was wrong. I'm sorry for screaming "DE-LIST NOW IF POSSIBLE" a few months back, it seems you were obviously only playing to the capabilities of the team. After all, you wouldn't want to come in and stand on the toes of our club champs by kicking their arses, would you?

6 goals in 2 weeks!! I can't beleive I can be pleased after being beaten by a bunch of spastics from WA, but I am :? .

Been a big fan of Simmo's since seeing some good performances in the VFL, and now he's starting to show us some of his VFL tricks. had a good game on a talented and vastly more experienced player, and will learn from the experience. Also goood to see Denis have the confidence in him to leave him on Black all game, and not pull him off when he made the mistake of letting Black get away for that goal in the 3rd Q.

Not wanting to start another thread. 8)

But given Kade Simpson was our first selection in the 2002 Black Friday National Draft, and given the level of contempt I have seen on the SS website about the Number 1 Draft Pick in that draft, one Mr. B. Goddard, could it be in some perverse way that "The Spew" has actually unknowingly (and quite galling to him) done us a kind service.

Is there more upside to Kade Simpson than B. Goddard?? Discuss.

No but Kade would have been the icing on the cake to Goddard and Wells. Kade is doing now what he was doing in the under 18 Champs and VFL being a quick skillfull wingman who can kick goals. I still can't believe people were dissapointed when we had taken Kade and not used that pick on Cam Hunter!

Good - then we can add this to "The Spew's" WADA file - he has had a shit of a week and even the "Fatprick" is getting stuck into him.

Sorry to flog a dead horse, but I couldn't help myself:

All you simmo fans wanted Pagan to give him a go.

Well, he got his go, and I think we've seen enough. He ain't got it.

No size, no ability, doesn't win the ball. He'll be dropped next week for the only other other guy on the same crappy level as him - number 7.

In fact, simmo makes Davies look like a Brownlow medallist.

For fun, my brother and I counted the amount of times he got in the TV screen - it was 10 times in a half for no touches (AND we've got a widescreen TV!).

To everone on this site who reckons this guy has potential, you are F@%&#! dreaming.

OFF TO THE BULLANTS AND ON TO OBSCURITY SIMMO

scotto, don't want to be pedantic, but I'm pretty sure we used the Cam Hunter pick to get Blake Campbell.

How many times did Simmo run into open space today only to be put under pressure when the kick miss the target? I'd say 7 or 8. The gutsy little bugger still worked under extreme pressure to fight to win the ball, but why put him under that much pressure? Memo to team mates of Simmo - PLEASE HIT SIMMO ON THE CHEST :!: Frustrating.

This tiny man appears to have showed the whole side how to tackle the last few weeks. Hopefully Bentick can do a Simmo and keep up his form of the last 2 weeks.
