Don't worry mantis,
iI turned it over for a bit when the umpiring was shite..and believe me ,there were even more bad decisions (dress wise) than at our game.

Loved Eddie's and Ratts embrace....I think Ratts is developing a really special relationship with this group.

That's a massive call, but one that could be on the money.

Are Duigan, Laidler and Curnow our best group of recruits since Manton, Clape and Hogg?

BTW -

If Judd wins a flag and another Chas - it will be written.

Gladly eating my words right now, thought we were gone when we trailed by 17 points in wet weather footy. Glad to say I was wrong.

Top performance in the second half once things started to click. Everyone stood up, Judd again outstanding, Jamison among our best I thought, Gibbs did a number on Goodes, there's just so much to like about our performance.

Also, thanks to the interchange steward.

Ripper catch by Eddie during the song just then. Saved Murph a ball in the face.

Still not that enamoured with Betts performance, but the 4 goals does help, and he did have a hand in another. Walker was more dangerous at ground level.

Setanta was good but he cannot time his jump to save himself, and he was no better than Hampson as a marking forward. Good to see his form is up and about though.

Joseph was next to useless despite his goal, as was White. There's a couple of changes right there. Just wish we could sit Setanta in defence.

3. C. Judd
2. E. Curnow
1. E. Betts

great moment.
wanna see that in Slow Mo..along with Juddy keeping the ball in alonf the boundary line..and finish up with that sliding mark Laidler took, where he skidded for awhile on his knees.

There were some massive moments in the game - one that sticks in my mind was the holding the ball tackle by Goodes by Murph being tackled in the last. Symbolised our committment and desire.

Was gonna mention this at some point. I think Murph has improved his tackling out of sight this season. Seems to be attending to his defensive duties with much more vigour this year. Really has continued his form from the end of last season. Keep up the good work.

Also, to paraphrase Anchorman...
I love... Jeff.
I love... Ed.
I love... Judd.

Go Blues! Courageous win. Bring on the Aints.
