Paid!!! Paid !!! Forgot danny, the only Contributor who gets paid... isn't one of us.

I dont think anyone likes treading water but aren't we all arguing different points?

* Is Kouta a great player? Consensus - Yep.
* Is Kouta a great leader? Consensus - Is a great player, but doesn't say much on the field. Doesn't throw his weight around. Can't grab games by the scruff of the neck like he used to. Could do abit more, if that's the captain you're after. On the flip side, many are saying Kouta is the best we've got at the moment.
* If not, who else could we appoint? Waite, Stevens get a few mentions.
* Who else should we appoint as Captain?

There seem to be a lot of people putting forward the 'lets change for the sake of change' line of thinking ... on most issues!

Trade Fev, trade Lance, cut every player 'not in our next premiership team', change the captain now, sack Collo, get rid of Pagan ... just some more recent examples!!

I'm sure being on the bottom has fuelled this but we need to be doing things at the club which will improve us from this point on. If there's no better option out there (and I think this applies to both the coaching and captaincy issues) then I can't see the need to cause further upheaval.

And for the we can't get any lower argument, well think back to 2003 when we were getting mauled by 100 points regularly. Apart from a few minor aberrations last year we were more competitive with a younger list and I think we're heading in the right direction with our drafting.

Go blues!

You dont improve by keeping your standards low.
You improve by raising the bar.
Our standards have been low for a long time now.

Can anybody find that other gem of an interview Kouta did the week Fev was rubbed out???
I think it was in the Hun..

Makes more interesting reading.

Kouta is the kind of guy youd like your daughter to marry..

Not the kind of captain you want to be leading your footy team.

Captaincy?

I thought we were talking about who we'd like to give it to?
