Adelaide seem to have a heap of dangerous small & medium sized players. I wouldn't be against dropping Silvagni for this game, thought we looked a bit too tall in the first half against North.

It'll depend on the situation with Harry & also the returning players. Voss said in his presser that Walsh Kennedy Acres will all be back...but that could be Carlton-speak for anything really

I agree. They're strengths (speed, spread, rebound) are our weaknesses.

Agree... They're in form and playing well..
Small forwards will test us... another job for Newman?

The next month will really start showing us where we (ane others) are... a bunch of teams seem to have flipped their form.

If H out, I'd play McGovern forward and bring in Cincotta to play down back. Five day break vs four is probably going to play a part, Cincotta got held over as an emergency in the twos, so I'd rather both maintain our structure as best possible and playing Cincotta ahead of someone who just played a massive slog in the wet like Kemp or Plowman.

Kennedy, Acres, Walsh in. LOB and Honey out. I'd probably manage Hewett or Cowan.

It's a 6 day break versus 5 isn't it?

That would be the correct form of basic counting, yes.

My error.

A rare good game from Fisher aside, I think both he and LOB are lucky to be on the list.

Manage or demote?

Would you give them a rest or play them in the reserves?

Hewett rested absolutely irrespective of the circumstances.

Cowan - I'd probably look to give him a week off too, make the most of the decent break before the Saints game on the Sunday after. VFL play the night after the Crows game - so I suppose, a good win with no injuries, you'd consider giving him a half in the VFL to try and get his spot back.

Normally I'd put my faith in the medicos, but Hewett hasn't looked right the past 2 weeks since coming back from his hand injury.
Given the returns of Kennedy, Walsh and Acres, giving him another week (or more if needed) to get absolutely right may not be a bad thing.
He is one of our more important players and our midfield operates so much better with a fully fit Hewett in it.

Will need to play much better than the last two weeks to get this win. Adelaide have their tails up and playing at home. Think they’re a level above GWS and North. We’ve never won at the AO either. Toss of the coin at the tribunal as to whether H plays - personally think the impact is low at best but the whole MRO and tribunal experience is a complete lottery week to week unfortunately. Walsh, Kennedy and Acres will be big ins given midfield was pretty average last week, especially early. LOB and Honey have to go out - not up to it at this stage. Unlike last two weeks where I think we should have won easily, this is a take a win however and by whatever margin we can type of game. Will get a much better read on team from next two weeks than last two weeks.

What I'm reading Galty is you're omitting Cowan and giving him a chance to win his spot back through the ressies.

I'm assuming you have kept Doc in the back 6 and the 7th defender becomes......Cincotta?

I guess that settles the drop Fisher this week argument.

Carlton tweeted that we have an extra day to respond to whether or not we appeal Harry's suspension.

Given we play on Thursday that doesn't leave a lot of time.

I agree but Voss clearly likes something he sees, as we do have options but they hold spots.

Fisher does need to find consistency. LOB just needs to realise what AFL standard is

So McGovern and Sheezel both received 3 votes off a coach and nothing from the other. :?
