probably finish the season with 5 wins and therefore qualify for a PP
Dawks (with 4 wins)
Round 19 - Brisbane @ Gabba - predicted loss
Round 20 - Essendon* @ MCG - probable loss
Round 21 - Richmond @ TD - 50/50
Round 22 - Sydney @ MCG - predicted loss
no more than 5 wins and therefore qualify for a PP
Carlton (with 3 1/2 wins)
Round 19 - Port Adelaide @ MCG - 50/50
Round 20 - Filth @ MCG - probable win
Round 21 - Essendon* @ MCG - probable loss
Round 22 - Kangaroos @ TD - predicted loss
I can feel another two wins on the horizon, therefore 5 1/2 wins for the year and no PP
Draft order
Filth - 1 & 3
Dawks - 2 & 4
Carlton - 5
Essendon* - 6
Well, following another round of results is seems that we may well be on track to qualifying for a PP now (after the loss on Sunday) and now all that really matters is a jostling for positions at the draft table.
I think that it will be harder for Carlton to lose this week than it would be for them to win so i'm predicting a Carlton win. The filth are decimated with injury and we have a full list of players to choose from plus some decent form. If all else remains as predicted above we should now see the following possible draft sequence.
Pick 1 - Hawthorn
Pick 2 - Carlton
Pick 3 - Collingwood
Pick 4 - Hawthorn
Pick 5 - Carlton
Pick 6 - Collingwood
Pick 7 - Essendon*
The hardest team to predict results for is the dawks. They once again showed on Sunday that they can match it by giving the Lions a real scare for a half of football. You'd think they should lose against the bombers and tigers but then again they are more than capable of getting a result. Like us they have the luxury of notching another win without losing the invaluable PP. If the pies and hawks don't win another game and we win one more then that will be the draft order I think.
