BV,
Would you trade Waite and for what??

Anything inside of pick 25 this draft.

What would you give up for 19 Rhys?

Not Stevens BV.
Are you thinking that Essendon* are sniffing Stevens for Pick 19???

Where are the supposed movers and shakers?

Hoops Camelboy? Do you think Hoops would get you a sub 20 pick in this draft?
Rodney Eade suspects Spider Everitt wont get a pick inside 30!
I'd suggest Ruckmen are more valuable, even if they're old.

Good question Blue Vain. Although I think you have your picks mixed up. Isn't Pick 19 our 2nd round pick as things currently stand?

Assuming you mean 18 or 20, I reckon

Houlihan and pick 35 is too cheap?
Scotland and pick 35 is too much?

How about Waite - straight swap, sell the potential.

Pick 19. That's it.

You mentioned Waite, Stevens. Would you offer them?

Whitnall?

I've already said Waite. But I'd do Whitnall as well provided the club was willing to draft Hansen instead of Gibbs.

It must be 18 or 20 (Essendon*) BV is talking about then.
Offer them Heath Scotland and cash in.

Carlton will never trade a player for a low draft pick - irrelevant thread.

Ah but they're not Danny!

I gave you 5 minutes to decide 40 minutes ago.
Where have you been?

So when do we get the answer or results to your little game?

Out of Fisher, Whitnall, Waite & Stevens I think the only one we would get a top 20 for this year would be Stevo, and I would be reluctant to go for that trade (sorry BH)

Little game? :?

There is no answer or result Brad.
It is an exercise to see what value posters put on pick 19.
We have 2 games of football to go. What do posters want from those 2 games and what is the value of a win or loss?

Personally I would trade Whitnall, Waite, Fisher.....probably anyone over 22 who isnt a midfielder or true KPP.
That is what value I put on a sub 20 pick.

Therefore my total focus in the last 2 games would be giving gametime to kids. Its fantastic that Jesse Smith got selected last week but the game time he was given was weak as piss. How can a kid get any concept of the increased pace when he is constantly on and off the ground?
Blackers should get 80 minutes minimum this week, so should Smith. Bower wont get selected but he should.
Walker should have a decent run on the ball (not tagging) and Carrots should be able to hunt the pill.
Let them enjoy their footy and see what they can achieve.

A win this week or next will see pick 19 taken from our grasp. A pick that some posters would trade top 5 players from our recent B&F for.
That is how valuable it is.
A pick that doesnt belong to us but is ours to have.

When the jollys are forgotten from victory in round 21 or 22.
The futility will remain.
Selecting a side with a focus on 4 points over giving gametime to kids will be disgraceful if it succeeds.

IMHO.

To all that would like to finish with less than for wins for an extra pick. Dream a little and say we had 7- 8 wins on the board this year. Finish about 11 or 12th. Would you see this as a step in the right direction for our younger players, am improvemnt as such in our stocks or would you see it as a wasted opportunity to secure a better ir extra pick. Im one of the ones still wrestling with the idea of that extra pick.
But at the expense of losing to the filth.
But it can mean that extra pick.
But the filth
Could mean an extra pick
But Joffa
Extra pick
