Have you guys heard this for yourself or is it all second hand information from BigFooty?

The person that started it in the Blues board at BigFooty has since been banned for starting numerous nonsense threads about things like Bradley being pregnant, Brad Pearce stubbing his toe. This was the quality of post we are talking about.

Someone else took the Rice story and posted it on the AFL board at BigFooty. Heaps wished Ricey well including me. I have since deleted the Blues board thread because I doubt its authenticity. Hell the thread started reckons that Pagan is passing on all this info to him for crying out loud.

Unless someone has heard something themselves and not just read the spreading of the original rumour, then we can put this to bed ... let's hope so anyway.

While it may not be the most well run site and best source for info, Saintsational reported the same thing earlier this week.

People read something on one site, post it on another, before you know it you have several sources all stemming from the first one. Trust me guys, the original poster on BigFooty is generally full of shit.

I'll wait for the media to jump on it.

I'm more worried about Bradley's morning sickness.

Relax folks, Pearce has bought a pair of socks with extra toe padding. Braddles and baby are doing just fine, no reason why he won't go full term. His morning sickness was not morning sickness at all. It's a poisoning thing that is going around. Apparently, when Smorgon released the explanation for what took place in the coaching review board meeting, many people swallowed it and got sick. It appears that not too many people in the internet community swallowed it and as such, continue to post with vigour.

It could be that the family wants to keep this quiet. To criticise the club for this without knowing the facts is ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC.

Rice is coaching Mulgrave next season.

A friend of mine is a Life Member there.

Good luck with that Dean, one season there and welcome back to Carlton as an assistant :-D

Best of luck Dean, hope you have a full recovery and are able to play with your kids without having to worry..

when i first saw the thread title, i was like great, dean rice as an assistant coach. i thought what better guy to get back to the club to teach the young pups of how to play with some G&D and get the best out of them selves.

ricey we love you mate, get well soon.

The fact he's taking a coaching role with a new team next season puts the rumor of his ill health in serious doubt I would have thought.

I sh!t you not that I had a dream last night that Ricey was made an assistant coach for the International Rules squad! I hope Ricey is well and can carry on with his life. Had balls of the biggest kind!

Its not that he's immune to it, but you would think if he was or had been very ill both he and the club may be wary about his ability to coach.

It could be the club is giving him something positive to look forward to whilst he goes through this. Another emotional outlet if you like..
