I've managed to go there and it was open.

Yes - its a fire sale there. Get in while the market is down and in years the value of things will pick up.

I bought a framed print - a collage of Carlton History with dates of all premierships and signed by a few ex-champs. Reduced from $600 to $100. Hell - the framing costs more than that!

I paid $2 each, but got them when The Scum beat The Lions .. and hung them next to my signed pic of Nick, Kouta, & Murph at work ..

It's closed...during school holidays...(good grief!!)

* Then, he reads the information about "biggest winning margins" etc at Princes Park and asks how Carlton could win against the Western Bulldogs in 1945..."Weren't they called Footscray?" he asked. Then, he read on about a Kangaroos defeat in the 1960s..."Weren't they reaaly called North Melbourne in those days?" he asked...

* But it gets worse...LW 2 (a 9 year old) is gazing at the large photograph use to highlight the last match at Princes Park between Carlton and Melbourne. Sure enough...it's a photo of a match between Carlton and Adelaide!!

I wonder

- if it's still there now?
- if the match was actually at OO/PP!
- how much they were charging for it
- how TF they can expect to operate at a profit
(a) with this sort of crap on sale?
(b) when the shop is not open during the holidays?!
