Reports from forum members and media have the decision after the spring carnival.

Any reason why then Jon?

No idea, Synbad might be able to answer it?

Maybe to see if they win enough money from the Spring Carnival to pay out Pagan!!

Yeah, sometimes, if it's needed. Is it really needed right now? What's the cost? Is the timing right? Is there less fall out when we do it when the ducks are lined up?

I think we have time. At least we should wait until all the members who want the current status quo to renew their memberships, and the current board have done all they can do to lobby for new sponsors...then let the new board with the money, the vision and their sponsors (who support their vision) to do their thing effectively when they see it as the right time, rather than us on the outside, who will not be putting a ticket together trying to determine when the timing of change should happen.

Im sorry, but blind freddy could see we are overdue for a change of administration.

Maybe overdue, and in need for a better solution to the one we've got now Budzy, but I think there's a timing issue your thread is so absorbed by, and that's all I'm considering; not whether we need change or not.

That's all I'm questioning; the timing.

People become blinded by rage, and to those who have lost patience and in a state of rage...well then timing means nothing.

Weigh it up; I have.

No time is ever perfect. We have issues now, we will have issues in the future. A change is either needed or its not - just do it.

Blind Freddy = Common Carlton Fan.

i dont think Blind Freedy needs change at all especially after the last month which in the prss looks positive.

But a March AGM is just stupid in anyones language. Its too late to do anything at all.

We are heavily in debt, we will soon announce a million dollar loss and we have just borrowed 1.5 million off the AFL so we could stay afloat.

This board has been in control for 4 years now.
How much improvement have they made?
What initiatives have they put in place?
Does anyone know what their plan is?

We have a bunch of well intentioned people who are way out of their depth.
They have taken their eye off the ball and they are more interested in factional disputes.

So true, and we need a better alternative. We all know that. But what's the alternative? You're telling me something we all know....the whole world knows.

I'm not voting anyone in, for or from Talking Carlton Forum, because they say so. They haven't got a plan; yeah, alot of ideas, concepts and thoughts, but no plan.

You can't vote out a board, have them voted out and have no alternative, or at least a better alternative.

We all know we need to get out of this mess, and that the current haven't and wont get us out of this quagmire (they've said so), but give me an alternative.

Talk is cheap....and our debt is expensive. Show me the money. At the moment, only the AFL has shown me money...so get real.
