Concerned - about the LTI. It's gotta be Hartlett esp. after that Fisher article earlier in the week. Knee worse than first thought?

Tempered excitement and a little confused- "tempered" coz Santy not in the official 22. Surely if he was playing his DEBUT game they wouldn't have named him as an Emergency?

This might sound extreme in the context of alleged sexual assault, drunken violence and a drug trafficking charge...

Saw Harlett in civvies at the Bullants v Box Hill Dawks game. Looked good and not limping. But if he's the LTI, I'd be very disappointed for him.

On the other hand I'd be over the moon if Santy (just to keep Tyrants happy ), was in the team.

Would try hard not to over-expect though as however good he is, he's not going to consistently be the Superman most are hoping he will be.

Chambers and Carazzo are in the 22, he will play, they wont. Why promote him and name him as emergency? Just trying to keep it low key, although I expect the footy show to make a fair bit of noise about it tonight. Even Eddie McGuire will get his thrills from this.

Kevin can't remember the post but if you search this site you'll find a link to be able to watch Channel 9 in about 1.5 hrs from now on the web.

Nothing about it on the web site. Not even the team and it's now after 8 pm. Brad Fisher listed as 4-6 weeks, Adam Hartlett 3-5 weeks. Doesn't it have to be 8 weeks to go onto LTI?

He can't be named emergency & not be promoted to the senior list. And why would you promote him & not play him? I think Denis is talking up the fact that Chambers & Carrazzo will play to divert the attention from Setanta playing to ensure that he doesn't get too carried away with the hype it would generate.

Can anyone confirm whether a family with surname o'hAilpin has left Ireland yet for the Aussie shores? Kevin, Sinead, anyone??

Chambers and Carazzo didn't train all week. Chambers was still limping today.
Campo trained with a heavily strapped knee tonight and Denis reckons he'll play.

IIRC he was promted and named in the 25 but did not play and the following week was struck down by injury??

Bring on Setanta.

Isn't Fisher supposed to be resuming fairly soon? If he's just been put on LTI he'll be out for 8 weeks.

...I hope this means he hasn't re-injured or damaged his knee kenny?

To those saying they wouldn't promote him and then not play him - that's exactly what happened last year.

Surely Fisher would have been place on the LTI list when he did his knee, so there would be a spot available. So if he's 4 weeks away we'd have a 4 week window for Setanta to play...

Was going to go to Punt Rd for a look at Santy anyway, i realy hope he gets in . This could be the spark that we need to play 4 1/4's of attacking footy.

I think he was named for the Hawks game as an emerg, didn't play and got injured next day for the bullies, but might have been at training....
