Must be Fev's bad attitude filtering through the club.

When Judd was on the bench injured, why didn't he sit with his teammates?

Probably nothing but possibly not???

The team does not seem united.

Paying $20... lining up from the goal square. Great bet. Easiest $100 i've made in a while. Shame my $10 on us for the win was laughable within another 30mins of making my $100..

With Judd off, Ellard was in the middle and was excellent. Scotland also started to get some tough possessions much like he did in the first three rounds. I found that quite interesting. We have looked, for the most part, hopeless without an identifiable full forward this year. Judd could be that man, playing games 200-300 much like Brad Johnson has.

10 minutes to 90 minutes was the difference.

We showed good passion and commitment in the opening 10 minutes and then slowly began to fall away, before being seemingly non-existent when the game was (briefly) in the balance.

All we saw today was a continuation of the rudderless football we have seen for the bulk of the last 6 weeks or so.

Pre-match passion for a clash with the old enemy lasts about 10 minutes then the reality of knowing that you don't have the answers sets in and despondency takes over.

Why so long for Ellard to get a game in the seniors?

It pains me to say it, but I almost feel embarrassed for
the club. It feels like the whole Football community is
laughing at us. It's just Un-Carlton to be laughed at.
People used to make negative comments and take the piss
but that was mostly out of jealousy, as we WERE a powerhouse
(believe it or not) once upon a time.
Someone earlier mentioned it's like the Pagan days all
over again. Floggings more often than not.
I wouldn't sleep too well if I were Brett Ratten.
It's obvious the players confidence is shot, hey even my
confidence is gone after watching that.

That just ruined what was otherwise turning aout to be quite an enjoyable birthday. Now I have the $%$#^%@$!!!!!ing Collingwood theme song in my head.

So many many cons we could be watching a prison movie. Won't even go there.
Unusual Con: Hoping the late junk goals don't take the blowtorch being put on those it should be.

Pro: Ellard was better when in the middle actually allowed to get the ball. Shame Judd had to go off to let this happen.
Pro: The awesome coaching moves tried to get something happening.. Oh, hang on a sec...
Pro: Johnson showing something and Grigg improving. Hope he doesn't like warm weather too much.
Pro: It is beer o'clock.

At least in the previous game vs the filth we actually came back at them for a short period. This time again you felt it was all over at the end of the first quarter and that everyone was just going through the motions.

Half time speech didn't go so well this week perhaps?

So many times under pressure we cough the ball up to the oppositions.

/sigh

No leadership.

No passion.

No heart.

No playing for the jumper.

They are all looking out for themselves. Dish off to someone else so I don't have to deal with it. It's pass the buck time down there at the moment.

Our back six were awful today. The three legged giraffe needs more than that shave to hide. Jameson was ordinary and Russels mistakes cost us three goals directly.

Our forward line went missing when the game was there to be won.

For the first time in my life I left before three quarter time. I have got better thinsgs to do than to be subjected to that. On that basis we will not play finals, and nor should we.

Pathetic insipid and gutless. They are front running soft cocks.

We are a long long way away.

What is the issue Ratten has with murphy? Why was he on the bench for so long in the second quarter? Why is he so defensive. We set up negatively before the game starts.

Well said Sammy - they've smelt what we've been cooking and knew we were coming, now they know we're pooing our pants.

Those dumb-arse slogans should be the second thing to go after the coach. The old Carlton used to let their footy do all the talking.

Been an amazing year all round. Some big winning and horrible losing streaks amongst a number of clubs.

Triple M saying they have heard whispers that Judd has torn the pectoralis muscle.

Recently I've noticed the in stoppages, Judd is to busy organising his teammates or having the ball to his back...In his wce days, was always on the run. We need mature players similar to rowan jones of wce who will take on responsibilty of organising and judd and co concentrating. We should go after andrew swallow maybe or even mathew priddis.
