So did he allegedly sustain this in the game or did he take it in?nWas he brought back too soon? Is it the classic completely different injury (but exactly the same) to the one he has had and caused him not to train all week. Why did he play the last two weeks? Whay was he off early and in discomfort ag the Tiges? 4 weeks at Carlton is 8 weeks. The guys many were writing off last week are now crucial.

Fingers crossed this is the last serious one.

A more accurate title would probably be "Waite....34"

Well Ratts thought he was ready for the one and a bit seasons that he played him there.

Which other genuine tall forward do you want us to play there? Happy to let Reid, Tarrant, Maxwell and O'Brien have a picnic?

They're most likely gonna have a picnic whichever way.

I'd play Thornton up forward.

Got absolutely no depth with Key Position forwards....
Might have to go back to Setants as a Full forward... He did kick 5 against the Pies last year didnt he ?
Not that I want this to happen, but guess we might have to roll the dice at some stage and introduce Big Levi...
Lukey Mitchell with a pre season under his belt would ve been handy right about now...

The hits just keep on coming.

Seems like we are well and truly getting screwed in terms of our injuries the past month or so. With no vaseline too…

Sounds suspiciously like that hip op that relates to the groin. The one that all our boys seem to have in the off season.
I guess they are banking on him coming back a bit earlier than the rest because he has a good fitness base.

I wouldnt move henda fwd just yet. Need to keep our defense in order. Id bring carlos in. Mainly playing second ruck and then leave big kruezer forward. Same may work with thornton playing forward and taking a bit of the ruck duties. Kruezer also having short runs on the ball.

Just as anticipated, looks like our home ground stadium is taking it's toll on some of our players. Hope were enjoying the surge of membership numbers and influx of $$$$$.

At least it's only round 16.

Waite & Jamo will be up and firing for finals.

Compared to some other teams we're not going too badly injury wise. So far no season ending injuries (touch wood) bar Hammer who's 50-50.

Freo supporters would prefer to be in our position I bet

I'm really sick of all the negative people on here.

Nothing worse than having a loss and seeing a bunch of Carlton Members throw in the towel for the season over one loss/injury for a couple weeks.

Just wish Carlton Members would grow some balls and stand up for their club!!!.

Clubs lose games, but you should never lose faith in the club. Any game Carlton play, l believe they can win if they come to play and i'm hoping they come with some old carlton spirit and smash the pies on the weekend!!.

They've lost Dawes and Brown. Not quite Jamo and Waite but close. Its called depth. The Hawks have been cut down with injury for most of the season but have managed to make the top 4 and will stay there. Maybe until we can develop the Mitchells, McCarthys and Watsons we are short of a top team ?
